Summer has officially arrived for us.
Thomas was home all last week, getting quality time with mommy, daddy and Grandma.
Cousins Mac and Harry came over for a sleepover and we all went to the National Zoo.
This week Thomas is attending Frying Pan Park camp. This is his third year at this camp. He goes for just one week but it is a lot of fun – though he did cry the first day! He and Matthew started swim lessons this week. For the first time, Thomas is in a class by himself while Matthew and I go together. The classes are fun but also very tiring as it is every night for the next two weeks at 7 p.m.
We also went to a Potomac Nationals baseball game with Maria, Dave, Alysun, Audrey, Julie and Nate. We had a great time even though it got rained out at the very end (but we did see some fireworks!).
And of course it would not be summer without some outdoor grilling. Bob made a mean ‘grilled portobella and goat cheese’ sandwich this past weekend. We’ve also enjoyed going to the farmer’s market and eating on the porch. I’ve contributed by eating
